Delete-System-Properties
Removes one or more system property of the domain, configuration, cluster, or server instance.
Synopsis
asadmin [asadmin-options] delete-system-properties [--help]
[--target target_name ]
[property_name[:property_name]*]
Description
The delete-system-properties subcommand deletes one or more system properties of a domain, configuration, cluster, or server instance.
Multiple property names are separated by colons (:).
Make sure that the system properties are not referenced elsewhere in the configuration before deleting them.
This subcommand is supported in remote mode only.
Options
asadmin-options:
Options for the asadmin utility. For information about these options, see the asadmin help page.
--help:
-?:
Displays the help text for the subcommand.
--target:
This option specifies the target on which you are deleting the system properties. The valid targets for this subcommand are instance,
cluster, configuration, domain, and server. Server is the default option.
Examples
Example 1 Deleting a System Property
This example deletes the system property named http-listener-port.
asadmin> delete-system-properties http-listener-port
Command delete-system-properties executed successfully.
Example 1 Deleting a Single System Property
This example deletes the system property named http-listener-port.
asadmin> delete-system-properties http-listener-port
System Properties [http-listener-port] deleted from target server. Make sure you check their references.
Command delete-system-properties executed successfully.
Example 2 Deleting Multiple System Properties This example deletes the system properties named http-listener-port and https-listener-port.
asadmin> delete-system-properties http-listener-port:https-listener-port
System Properties [http-listener-port, https-listener-port] deleted from target server. Make sure you check their references.
