Sets the configuration for the DynamoDB Config Source.

Synopsis

 
asadmin [asadmin-options] set-dynamodb-config-source-configuration [--help] [--region-name=region-name] [--table-name=table-name] [--key-column-name=key-column-name] [--value-column-name=value-column-name] [--limit=100] [--target=server] [--dynamic={false|true}] [--enabled={true|false}]

Description

The set-dynamodb-config-source-configuration provides configuration options to set the properties required by DynamoDB config source to retrieves data from the configured DynamoDB database table.

Tip
Make sure that the password aliases AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID and AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY are created first.

Options

asadmin-options: Options for the asadmin utility. For information about these options, see the asadmin help page. --help: -?: Displays the help text for the subcommand.

--target: Specifies the target where the configuration source resides.
Valid values are as follows:
server;; Specifies the DAS (default). instance-name;; Specifies a Payara Server instance. cluster-name;; Specifies a cluster. configuration-name;; Specifies a named configuration.

--region-name: The regional location of your DynamoDB service.

--table-name: Name of the table in the database.

--key-column-name: Name of the column containing the key.

--value-column-name: Name of the column containing the value.

--limit: The maximum number of items to retrieves from the database table. The default value is 100.

--dynamic: Configure the config source dynamically, which will not require a restart.

--enabled: Enables or disables the config source.

asadmin> set-dynamodb-config-source-configuration --enabled true --dynamic true --region-name eu-west-2 --table-name Books --key-column-name ISBN --value-column-name Title --limit 10
